UNS C95800Nickel-aluminium bronze

An option for seawater-wetted castings where corrosion resistance and strength are important. Casting condition, water quality and flow conditions require review.

EN CC491K · CuSn5Zn5Pb5-CLeaded gunmetal

Used in pump and valve castings for its castability, machinability and corrosion resistance. Confirm service conditions and any restrictions on lead.

Application duty: Identify ballast transfer or bilge drainage, fluid composition, entrained solids, suction conditions and the pump configuration. A centrifugal-pump illustration does not cover every bilge-pump design.
Drawing & interfaces: 2D drawing and available 3D model; suction/discharge sizes, flange standard, mounting feet and mating-cover geometry.
Critical geometry: Wall sections, machining datums, sealing faces, impeller clearance and any casting allowances.
Duty conditions: Design pressure and temperature, fluid composition, flow duty and pressure-test requirements.
Material specification: Alloy grade, governing material standard, casting condition and any restricted substances.
Order & acceptance: Drawing revision, quantity, delivery condition, critical tolerances, inspection methods and required documentation.
