CASTING COMPONENT

Butterfly valve disc

Butterfly-valve flow passage

Rotates about the valve shaft to control flow. Disc edge geometry must match the specified resilient or metal seating design.

Material options

UNS C95800Nickel-aluminium bronze

An option for seawater-wetted castings where corrosion resistance and strength are important. Casting condition, water quality and flow conditions require review.

Select the grade against the drawing, duty conditions and applicable material standard. These candidates are not interchangeable and do not establish confirmed manufacturing scope.
