CASTING COMPONENT

Metal valve seat ring

Metal-seated valve closure

Provides a replaceable seating surface where the valve design calls for a metal seat. It must not replace an elastomer or PTFE seat without redesign.

Material options

UNS C95400Aluminium bronze

A candidate for bearing, gear and wear components where strength and wear resistance are important. Check lubrication, counterface material and service conditions.

UNS C95800Nickel-aluminium bronze

An option for seawater-wetted castings where corrosion resistance and strength are important. Casting condition, water quality and flow conditions require review.

Select the grade against the drawing, duty conditions and applicable material standard. These candidates are not interchangeable and do not establish confirmed manufacturing scope.
