CASTING COMPONENT

Pump shaft sleeve

Pump shaft and seal region

Protects the shaft at the packing, seal or wear interface. Sleeve dimensions and surface condition follow the sealing arrangement.

Material options

UNS C95800Nickel-aluminium bronze

An option for seawater-wetted castings where corrosion resistance and strength are important. Casting condition, water quality and flow conditions require review.

UNS C93200Leaded tin bronze

A bearing-alloy candidate valued for machinability and bearing behaviour. Lubrication, load, speed and mating-shaft condition govern suitability; it is not inherently dry-running.

Select the grade against the drawing, duty conditions and applicable material standard. These candidates are not interchangeable and do not establish confirmed manufacturing scope.
