Propeller hub / boss

Controllable-pitch propeller hub

Carries the blade-root interfaces around the shaft axis. A hub casting does not include the hydraulic pitch-control system.

Material options

UNS C95800Nickel-aluminium bronze

An option for seawater-wetted castings where corrosion resistance and strength are important. Casting condition, water quality and flow conditions require review.

C95800 is a candidate, not an automatic equivalent of a classification-society alloy designation. Confirm the governing specification, approval requirements and manufacturing scope before quotation.

Registers, bolt circles, sealing grooves, machining datums and assembly clearances.
Acceptance scope
