COMPONENT GUIDE

Valve bonnet

Valve-body closure around the stem

Closes the body at the specified stem or packing arrangement.

Manufacturing & delivery form
Bonnet casting with drawing-defined interface machining.

Not every valve design has a bonnet. Potable-water use requires review of every wetted material.

Material candidates

UNS C83600 Leaded red brass

A candidate for specified pump, valve and fitting castings.

Candidate for drawing review only. Contains lead; potable-water suitability must not be assumed. Zhiren availability is unconfirmed.

EN CC491K Leaded gunmetal

An EN-designated option for specified pump or valve castings.

Candidate for drawing review only. Confirm the exact standard and service; it is not automatically equivalent to C83600. Zhiren availability is unconfirmed.

UNS C89833 Bismuth tin bronze

A candidate low-lead alternative for specified wetted components.

Candidate for drawing review only. Composition alone does not establish final-product approval; confirm the OEM specification and required evaluation. Zhiren availability is unconfirmed.

Confirm the drawing, actual duty, material standard and manufacturing condition. Material substitutions require customer approval, and supply scope is agreed after component review.

Component RFQ requirements

Body interface
Flange or thread dimensions, bolt pattern, register and sealing face.
Stem & packing
