COMPONENT GUIDE

Liquid-cooling pump housing

Customer-defined FWS or CDU pump position; TCS use requires separate approval

A development assessment for a pressure-containing pump housing where the equipment owner explicitly accepts a copper-alloy route.

Manufacturing & delivery form
Potential complex casting with machining and cleaning, subject to route and sample approval.

No default copper-casting grade or established Zhiren CDU supply is confirmed. Actual equipment may use stainless steel or another approved material.

Material candidates

UNS C90500 Tin bronze

A candidate for specified pump and valve components.

Development candidate only. Obtain written customer approval for the alloy and manufacturing route, then validate the actual coolant, complete wetted-material set, cleanliness and leakage requirements. This grade has no assumed approval for a technology cooling system.

UNS C89833 Bismuth tin bronze

A low-lead alternative to consider where the customer approves the material and manufacturing route.

Development candidate only. Obtain written customer approval for the alloy and manufacturing route, then validate the actual coolant, complete wetted-material set, cleanliness and leakage requirements. This grade has no assumed approval for a technology cooling system.

Confirm the drawing, actual duty, material standard and manufacturing condition. Material substitutions require customer approval, and supply scope is agreed after component review.

Component RFQ requirements

Loop identity
Identify facility water system (FWS) or technology cooling system (TCS), primary/secondary side and approved equipment drawing.
Coolant and wetted materials
Supply the full coolant specification, water quality, metals, coatings, seals and written material approval.
Housing geometry
Define flow passage, wall sections, port/seal interfaces, machining datums and access for internal cleaning.
Cleanliness criteria
Specify particles, metal-ion release, process residues, internal-surface acceptance and cleaning/packaging verification.
Pressure and sample approval
Define temperature/pressure duty, leakage method/limits, sample plan and component-versus-loop validation responsibilities.
Delivery scope
State accepted casting route, blank or machined form, quantity, material records and change-control requirements.

Start with your drawing, specified alloy and quantity. Include the required delivery condition and acceptance records so the manufacturing and inspection scope can be reviewed.
