COMPONENT REQUIREMENTS

Hydronic connection body

Define the geometry, material, delivery condition and acceptance criteria for the selected application. Manufacturing scope requires review of the approved drawing and operating requirements.

COMPONENT GUIDE

Hydronic connection body

Drawing-defined branch or connection in a water-side skid or valve assembly

Connects designated passages and equipment interfaces in the specified water circuit.

Manufacturing & delivery form
Complex connection casting with interface machining; forged or machined-stock routes separately defined.

A refrigerant fitting, bent copper tube or brazed pipe assembly is not automatically a copper-alloy casting.

Material candidates

UNS C83600 Leaded red brass

A candidate for specified cast valve bodies, covers and connection housings.

An application candidate, not a confirmed equipment bill of materials or available Zhiren grade. Do not default to potable-water use.

UNS C89833 Bismuth tin bronze

A low-lead alternative to consider where the customer approves the material and manufacturing route.

Low-lead chemistry alone does not establish low leaching, potable-water eligibility or complete-product compliance. Qualification belongs to the actual component and service.

UNS C87600 Cast copper-silicon alloy

A drawing-led candidate for selected connection and valve components.

Not interchangeable with wrought brass grades. The customer must approve the exact alloy, manufacturing form and service.

Confirm the drawing, actual duty, material standard and manufacturing condition. Material substitutions require customer approval, and supply scope is agreed after component review.

Component RFQ requirements

Passage layout
Provide all branches, flow directions, wall sections, internal access and drawing revision.
Connection system
Identify each thread, flange, union or other interface and the corresponding sealing arrangement.
Water circuit
State closed or potable water, glycol type/concentration, treatment, temperature and pressure.
Material interfaces
List connected and wetted materials and the customer-approved alloy specification.
Delivery acceptance
Define casting/alternative route, machining condition, leak testing, cleanliness and required records.

Start with your drawing, specified alloy and quantity. Include the required delivery condition and acceptance records so the manufacturing and inspection scope can be reviewed.

Alloy reference

Review tin-bronze grades.

Compare reference grades and composition in the alloy catalogue. Use the approved component specification to determine the required alloy and service suitability.
