COMPONENT REQUIREMENTS

Fire hose valve body

Define the geometry, material, delivery condition and acceptance criteria for the selected application. Manufacturing scope requires review of the approved drawing and operating requirements.

COMPONENT GUIDE

Fire hose valve body

Standpipe or hose-outlet valve

Contains the specified water passage, seat and stem/bonnet connections for a hose-valve design.

Manufacturing & delivery form
Body casting with connection and valve-seat machining.

Pressure-regulating behaviour of a reducing hose valve requires complete-valve validation. It cannot be guaranteed by the body casting alone.

Material candidates

UNS C83600 Leaded red brass

A candidate for specified cast valve bodies, covers and connection housings.

An application candidate, not a confirmed equipment bill of materials or available Zhiren grade. Do not default to potable-water use.

Customer-specified casting alloy Approved copper alloy

An additional cast-alloy option only where the hose-valve drawing specifies it.

Provide the exact numerical alloy, governing standard and manufacturing condition. A general copper-alloy family does not approve a substitute for the specified valve body.

Confirm the drawing, actual duty, material standard and manufacturing condition. Material substitutions require customer approval, and supply scope is agreed after component review.

Component RFQ requirements

Valve design
Identify straight/angle or pressure-reducing design, approved drawing and flow direction.
Hose and pipe ends
Specify each connection standard, thread details, local mating requirements and dimensions.
Seat and stem region
Define seat datum, bonnet joint, stem alignment and machining allowance.
Pressure and mechanics
Provide design duty, connection loads, body defect and leakage criteria.
Release responsibility
State approved material, machining scope, inspection records and complete-valve performance/qualification owner.

Start with your drawing, specified alloy and quantity. Include the required delivery condition and acceptance records so the manufacturing and inspection scope can be reviewed.
