COMPONENT REQUIREMENTS

Fire protection gate valve body

Define the geometry, material, delivery condition and acceptance criteria for the selected application. Manufacturing scope requires review of the approved drawing and operating requirements.

COMPONENT GUIDE

Fire protection gate valve body

Sprinkler or standpipe control valve

Contains the pressure boundary and locates the gate, seat and end connections.

Manufacturing & delivery form
Valve-body casting with drawing-defined machining.

Obtain the exact body alloy from the approved fire-valve drawing; a bronze trade name does not establish C83600. Complete-valve listing is separate from casting supply.

Material candidates

UNS C83600 Leaded red brass

A candidate for specified cast valve bodies, covers and connection housings.

An application candidate, not a confirmed equipment bill of materials or available Zhiren grade. Do not default to potable-water use.

Confirm the drawing, actual duty, material standard and manufacturing condition. Material substitutions require customer approval, and supply scope is agreed after component review.

Component RFQ requirements

Approved design
Provide the OEM drawing revision, gate arrangement, orientation and required change-approval process.
Pressure boundary
Define wall sections, casting-defect acceptance, design conditions and body leak-test method and limits.
End connections
Specify exact thread/flange standards, dimensions, sealing faces and local interface requirements.
Gate and bonnet interfaces
Identify seat locations, guides, bonnet joint, datums and machining allowances.
Qualification records
State approved material standard, first-article and batch documents and the OEM's complete-product verification responsibility.

Start with your drawing, specified alloy and quantity. Include the required delivery condition and acceptance records so the manufacturing and inspection scope can be reviewed.
