COMPONENT REQUIREMENTS

Copper-alloy elbow / tee body

Define the geometry, material, delivery condition and acceptance criteria for the selected application. Manufacturing scope requires review of the approved drawing and operating requirements.

COMPONENT GUIDE

Copper-alloy elbow / tee body

Pipe direction change or branch

Routes water through a drawing-defined elbow or tee configuration.

Manufacturing & delivery form
Cast passage with connection-end machining where the drawing calls for a casting.

Bent tube and forged fittings are different manufacturing forms; elbow and tee geometry must be specified separately.

Material candidates

UNS C83600 Leaded red brass

A candidate for specified pump, valve and fitting castings.

Candidate for drawing review only. Contains lead; potable-water suitability must not be assumed. Zhiren availability is unconfirmed.

UNS C95800 Nickel aluminium bronze

A candidate for specified saline-water and wear components.

Candidate for drawing review only. Review water chemistry, flow, mating metals and casting condition; no corrosion or cavitation guarantee. Zhiren availability is unconfirmed.

UNS C89833 Bismuth tin bronze

A candidate low-lead alternative for specified wetted components.

Candidate for drawing review only. Composition alone does not establish final-product approval; confirm the OEM specification and required evaluation. Zhiren availability is unconfirmed.

Confirm the drawing, actual duty, material standard and manufacturing condition. Material substitutions require customer approval, and supply scope is agreed after component review.

Component RFQ requirements

Passage & branch
Elbow angle or tee layout, bore, wall sections and centre-to-end dimensions.
End connections
Thread or flange system, engagement length and sealing faces.
Water duty
Water type, pressure, temperature, connected alloys and leak-test requirements.
Material specification
Alloy grade, governing standard and revision, manufacturing condition and any restricted substances.
Order & acceptance
Approved drawing revision, quantity, blank or machined delivery, inspection criteria and required records.

Start with your drawing, specified alloy and quantity. Include the required delivery condition and acceptance records so the manufacturing and inspection scope can be reviewed.
