COMPONENT REQUIREMENTS

Check valve body

Define the geometry, material, delivery condition and acceptance criteria for the selected application. Manufacturing scope requires review of the approved drawing and operating requirements.

COMPONENT GUIDE

Check valve body

Pump outlet or water-side reverse-flow prevention point

Contains the check-valve passage and locates the drawing-specified closure mechanism.

Manufacturing & delivery form
Pressure-boundary casting with agreed machining.

Disc and seal materials can differ from the body. Cracking pressure and assembled-valve leakage are not body-only properties.

Material candidates

UNS C83600 Leaded red brass

A candidate for specified cast valve bodies, covers and connection housings.

An application candidate, not a confirmed equipment bill of materials or available Zhiren grade. Do not default to potable-water use.

EN CC491K Leaded tin-zinc bronze / gunmetal

A candidate for specified water-side valve bodies and housings.

Confirm separately from UNS grades. Lead restrictions, medium, material standard and casting route require approval.

UNS C89833 Bismuth tin bronze

A low-lead alternative to consider where the customer approves the material and manufacturing route.

Low-lead chemistry alone does not establish low leaching, potable-water eligibility or complete-product compliance. Qualification belongs to the actual component and service.

Confirm the drawing, actual duty, material standard and manufacturing condition. Material substitutions require customer approval, and supply scope is agreed after component review.

Component RFQ requirements

Valve configuration
Provide swing, lift or other design, orientation, body drawing and flow direction.
Closure interfaces
Define hinge/pin bores or guide geometry, seat datum, cover joint and travel clearances.
Pipe connections
Specify connection standard, face-to-face dimension and gasket or thread details.
Water duty
Identify service category, water chemistry, pressure, temperature and required material approval.
Inspection and assembly
Agree casting defect and body leakage criteria; allocate complete-valve functional testing and traceability.

Start with your drawing, specified alloy and quantity. Include the required delivery condition and acceptance records so the manufacturing and inspection scope can be reviewed.
