YOUR DRAWING / YOUR APPLICATION

Custom copper-alloy casting enquiries

A component does not need to appear in this guide to be submitted for review. Start with its function, geometry and required alloy. Material, manufacturing and inspection scope will be assessed against your specification.

01 / GEOMETRY

Define the component

Provide the controlled 2D drawing and available 3D model, drawing revision, principal dimensions and estimated mass. Identify the component separately from the complete equipment.

  • Critical interfaces, wall sections and machining datums
  • Fits, tolerances, sealing faces and surface finish
  • Required cast blank, rough-machined or finished condition
02 / MATERIAL & DUTY

Specify its service

State the numerical alloy designation and governing standard where known. If material selection is still open, provide the operating conditions rather than a trade name alone.

  • Medium, pressure, temperature and corrosion conditions
  • Load, speed, lubrication and mating materials where relevant
  • Restrictions on composition and required casting condition
03 / ACCEPTANCE

Set the delivery requirements

Describe the inspection and documentation needed for this component. Equipment approvals and project-specific acceptance must be identified explicitly.

  • Dimensional checks, material verification and any specified NDE
  • Pressure, leak or balance testing responsibility where applicable
  • Quantity, delivery destination and requested schedule
