CASTING COMPONENT

Thru-hull fitting

Boat hull penetration

Connects a hull opening to the inboard seacock or pipework. Thread compatibility, bedding and hull installation remain part of the equipment design.

Material options

UNS C83600Leaded red brass

A cast copper alloy used in selected bronze fittings. Castability and machinability support complex connection geometry; verify seawater conditions and restrictions on lead.

Select the grade against the drawing, duty conditions and applicable material standard. These candidates are not interchangeable and do not establish confirmed manufacturing scope.
