CASTING COMPONENT

Copper-alloy pipe flange

Bolted pipe connection

Provides a bolted connection and gasket seating face. Alloy choice alone does not define a pressure rating or flange standard.

Material options

UNS C83600Leaded red brass

A cast copper alloy used in selected bronze fittings. Castability and machinability support complex connection geometry; verify seawater conditions and restrictions on lead.

UNS C95800Nickel-aluminium bronze

An option for seawater-wetted castings where corrosion resistance and strength are important. Casting condition, water quality and flow conditions require review.

Select the grade against the drawing, duty conditions and applicable material standard. These candidates are not interchangeable and do not establish confirmed manufacturing scope.
