Bronze gear / ring blank

Identify the required geometry, material and acceptance criteria for your drawing-based casting enquiry. Illustrations and material options are not a stock catalogue or a statement of approved supply scope.

CASTING COMPONENT

Bronze gear / ring blank

Drawing-defined gear or ring

A bronze casting blank for a specified gear design. The illustration shows a blank, not a finished gear; many marine gears use other materials.

Material options

UNS C90700Tin bronze

A candidate for gear and worm-wheel blanks. Specify tooth finishing, mating gear, lubrication and duty rather than selecting from alloy name alone.

UNS C95400Aluminium bronze

A candidate for bearing, gear and wear components where strength and wear resistance are important. Check lubrication, counterface material and service conditions.

Select the grade against the drawing, duty conditions and applicable material standard. These candidates are not interchangeable and do not establish confirmed manufacturing scope.
