COMPONENT GUIDE

Water meter body / maincase

Wetted housing of a water meter

Houses the drawing-defined metering chamber and pipe connections.

Manufacturing & delivery form
Shaped casting with specified chamber, thread and sealing-face machining.

This is the housing only. Meter accuracy, measuring mechanisms and finished-meter approval are outside this component guide.

Material candidates

UNS C89833 Bismuth tin bronze

A candidate low-lead alternative for specified wetted components.

Candidate for drawing review only. Composition alone does not establish final-product approval; confirm the OEM specification and required evaluation. Zhiren availability is unconfirmed.

UNS C87600 Cast copper-silicon alloy

A candidate for drawing-specified connection or support components.

Candidate for drawing review only. Confirm functional requirements and casting condition; do not substitute wrought copper-silicon or brass grades by family name. Zhiren availability is unconfirmed.

Confirm the drawing, actual duty, material standard and manufacturing condition. Material substitutions require customer approval, and supply scope is agreed after component review.

Component RFQ requirements
