COMPONENT REQUIREMENTS

Pump impeller

Define the geometry, material, delivery condition and acceptance criteria for the selected application. Manufacturing scope requires review of the approved drawing and operating requirements.

COMPONENT GUIDE

Pump impeller

Inside a circulation pump whose drawing specifies a copper-alloy impeller

Forms the rotating hydraulic passage in the specified pump design.

Manufacturing & delivery form
Cast impeller with agreed machining and balance scope.

A bronze pump body is not proof of a bronze impeller. Geometry, balancing and pump performance remain tied to the approved design.

Material candidates

UNS C90500 Tin bronze

A candidate for specified pump and valve components.

Review the actual medium, mating materials and manufacturing condition. Material data do not establish component pressure, wear life or pump performance.

UNS C89833 Bismuth tin bronze

A low-lead alternative to consider where the customer approves the material and manufacturing route.

Low-lead chemistry alone does not establish low leaching, potable-water eligibility or complete-product compliance. Qualification belongs to the actual component and service.

Confirm the drawing, actual duty, material standard and manufacturing condition. Material substitutions require customer approval, and supply scope is agreed after component review.

Component RFQ requirements

Hydraulic geometry
Provide vane profile, shrouds, inlet/outlet geometry, rotation direction and approved drawing revision.
Hub and shaft
Specify bore, keyway, retaining details, datums, fit and machining allowance.
Water and material
Identify service category, water/glycol composition, temperature and customer-approved alloy.
Balance and surface
Define balance criteria and responsible party, finished surfaces and permissible casting defects.
Approval records
Define dimensional and material records and any sample or assembled-pump verification required by the OEM.

Start with your drawing, specified alloy and quantity. Include the required delivery condition and acceptance records so the manufacturing and inspection scope can be reviewed.
