COMPONENT REQUIREMENTS

Pump cover

Define the geometry, material, delivery condition and acceptance criteria for the selected application. Manufacturing scope requires review of the approved drawing and operating requirements.

COMPONENT GUIDE

Pump cover

End closure and shaft-seal interface

Closes the specified pump chamber and locates its mating or sealing features.

Manufacturing & delivery form
Cover casting with agreed face, register and bore machining.

A pump cover and a separate seal gland have different functions and drawings. Identify a seal-gland enquiry explicitly; cover dimensions do not define the gland.

Material candidates

UNS C83600 Leaded red brass

A candidate for specified pump, valve and fitting castings.

Candidate for drawing review only. Contains lead; potable-water suitability must not be assumed. Zhiren availability is unconfirmed.

UNS C95800 Nickel aluminium bronze

A candidate for specified saline-water and wear components.

Candidate for drawing review only. Review water chemistry, flow, mating metals and casting condition; no corrosion or cavitation guarantee. Zhiren availability is unconfirmed.

Confirm the drawing, actual duty, material standard and manufacturing condition. Material substitutions require customer approval, and supply scope is agreed after component review.

Component RFQ requirements

Cover interface
Envelope, bolt pattern, casing register and gasket or O-ring groove.
Shaft geometry
Bore, coaxiality, face flatness and machining allowance.
Service & acceptance
Actual fluid composition, pressure, temperature, corrosion conditions, material traceability and agreed inspection.
Material specification
Alloy grade, governing standard and revision, manufacturing condition and any restricted substances.
Order & acceptance
Approved drawing revision, quantity, blank or machined delivery, inspection criteria and required records.

Start with your drawing, specified alloy and quantity. Include the required delivery condition and acceptance records so the manufacturing and inspection scope can be reviewed.
