COMPONENT REQUIREMENTS

Quick-disconnect coupling — adjacent component

Define the geometry, material, delivery condition and acceptance criteria for the selected application. Manufacturing scope requires review of the approved drawing and operating requirements.

COMPONENT GUIDE

Quick-disconnect coupling — adjacent component

Serviceable connection in a liquid-cooling loop or server module

Identifies the component interfaces, material approval and verification requirements for a proposed quick-disconnect body.

Manufacturing & delivery form
Complete couplings may include turned bodies, internal valves, springs and seals; assess any proposed body route individually.

No general copper-casting grade, complete-coupling capability or UQD qualification is established. A component proposal does not certify the finished connection.

Material candidates

Customer specified Approved material to be defined

No default copper-casting alloy is established for this component.

Obtain the approved metal, seal and coating specifications from the equipment owner before assessing a manufacturing route.

Confirm the drawing, actual duty, material standard and manufacturing condition. Material substitutions require customer approval, and supply scope is agreed after component review.

Component RFQ requirements

Interface definition
Provide approved connection series, mating halves, dimensions, interchangeability requirements and included body scope.
Materials and seals
Specify approved metals, coatings, seals, coolant and complete wetted-material compatibility requirements.
Connection duty
Define repeated connect/disconnect duty, service conditions and required sealing-life validation.
Leakage acceptance
Specify connected/disconnected leakage or drip criteria, test procedure and complete-product validation owner.
Cleanliness
Define particles, process residues, cleaning and protected packaging requirements.
Manufacturing feasibility
State the allowed body route, component drawings, sample plan and supplier qualification needed for each operation.

Start with your drawing, specified alloy and quantity. Include the required delivery condition and acceptance records so the manufacturing and inspection scope can be reviewed.
