COMPONENT GUIDE

Heat-exchanger end cover / waterbox cover

Specified exchanger water chamber

Closes or distributes water at a drawing-specified heat-exchanger end.

Manufacturing & delivery form
Cover casting with interface machining; envelope and manufacturing route require review.

Hot concentrated brine is not automatically suitable for copper alloys. The cover does not include a tube bundle.

Material candidates

UNS C95800 Nickel aluminium bronze

A candidate for specified saline-water and wear components.

Candidate for drawing review only. Review water chemistry, flow, mating metals and casting condition; no corrosion or cavitation guarantee. Zhiren availability is unconfirmed.

Gunmetal family Exact grade to be specified

A family-level candidate for a specifically approved auxiliary-cooler design.

Specify the exact numerical grade and governing standard. Review actual water chemistry and temperature; Zhiren availability is unconfirmed.

Confirm the drawing, actual duty, material standard and manufacturing condition. Material substitutions require customer approval, and supply scope is agreed after component review.

Component RFQ requirements

Chamber geometry
Envelope, estimated mass, wall sections, nozzles and internal partitions.
Mating surfaces
Bolt pattern, gasket, tube-sheet interface and connected materials.
Service & inspection
Salinity, water chemistry, pressure, temperature, defect acceptance and test responsibility.
Material specification
Alloy grade, governing standard and revision, manufacturing condition and any restricted substances.
Order & acceptance
Approved drawing revision, quantity, blank or machined delivery, inspection criteria and required records.

Start with your drawing, specified alloy and quantity. Include the required delivery condition and acceptance records so the manufacturing and inspection scope can be reviewed.
