COMPONENT REQUIREMENTS

Check valve disc / FDC clapper

Define the geometry, material, delivery condition and acceptance criteria for the selected application. Manufacturing scope requires review of the approved drawing and operating requirements.

COMPONENT GUIDE

Check valve disc / FDC clapper

Closure element inside a specified check valve or fire department connection

Moves about the drawing-defined hinge or guide to close against the mating seat.

Manufacturing & delivery form
Near-net casting with machining or another approved blank route.

Only assess copper-alloy closures specified by the OEM. A copper-alloy FDC body does not establish a copper-alloy clapper.

Material candidates

UNS C83600 Leaded red brass

A candidate for specified cast valve bodies, covers and connection housings.

An application candidate, not a confirmed equipment bill of materials or available Zhiren grade. Do not default to potable-water use.

UNS C90500 Tin bronze

A candidate for specified pump and valve components.

Review the actual medium, mating materials and manufacturing condition. Material data do not establish component pressure, wear life or pump performance.

Confirm the drawing, actual duty, material standard and manufacturing condition. Material substitutions require customer approval, and supply scope is agreed after component review.

Component RFQ requirements

Closure geometry
Provide disc profile, hinge lug or guide, mass-related design requirements and approved drawing.
Pivot and travel
Specify pin bore, retaining method, opening travel and installation orientation.
Seat interface
Define sealing profile, counterface material, any elastomer interface and surface finish.
Operating acceptance
Allocate impact/closing behaviour, pressure and assembled leakage validation to the specified responsible parties.
Material and traceability
State approved alloy, casting/blank route, machining state and first-article/batch records.

Start with your drawing, specified alloy and quantity. Include the required delivery condition and acceptance records so the manufacturing and inspection scope can be reviewed.
