COMPONENT GUIDE

Spider bushing

Upper main-shaft support in a gyratory crusher with a spider.

Provides a drawing-defined sliding support around the main shaft at the spider.

Manufacturing & delivery form
Cast tube or sleeve blank with agreed machining; large casting route to be assessed.

Not every cone crusher uses a spider bushing. The approved OEM specification takes precedence over candidate grades.

Material candidates

UNS C93200 Leaded tin bronze

Candidate for lubricated bushings, bearings and thrust interfaces.

Contains lead. Confirm load, speed, shaft condition and lubrication; no dry-running capability is implied.

UNS C93700 High-leaded tin bronze

Candidate for specified lubricated bearing interfaces.

Contains lead. Higher lead content does not establish a suitable load capacity; confirm the equipment specification.

UNS C86300 Manganese brass / manganese bronze

Candidate for specified heavily loaded sliding parts and nut blanks.

A high-strength brass family, not tin bronze. Confirm the counterface and lubrication; no universal wear-life claim applies.

Confirm the drawing, actual duty, material standard and manufacturing condition. Material substitutions require customer approval, and supply scope is agreed after component review.

Component RFQ requirements

Model & geometry
Equipment model, approved part number, bore, outside diameter, length and shoulders.
Fit & surfaces
Shaft and housing dimensions, clearances, roundness and surface requirements.
Load & motion
Load directions, impact conditions and shaft movement.
Lubrication
Lubricant, oil or grease passages, groove layout and contamination conditions.
Material & acceptance
Specified alloy and standard, supply condition, drawing revision, quantity, inspection criteria and required records.
Supply form
Cast tube or sleeve blank with agreed machining; large casting route to be assessed.

Start with your drawing, specified alloy and quantity. Include the required delivery condition and acceptance records so the manufacturing and inspection scope can be reviewed.
