COMPONENT GUIDE

Conductor connection block

Fixed conductive path in switchgear

Provides the specified mounting and contact interfaces for a conductive connection.

Manufacturing & delivery form
Shaped copper casting with critical-face machining, subject to drawing review.

System temperature rise cannot be guaranteed from copper purity alone.

Material candidates

UNS C81100 Cast copper

A candidate for drawing-specified conductive cast components.

Candidate for drawing review only. Confirm finished-part conductivity and contact geometry; purity alone does not establish assembly performance. Zhiren availability is unconfirmed.

UNS C81500 Cast chromium copper

A candidate where the design calls for a balance of conductivity and mechanical properties.

Candidate for drawing review only. Confirm heat treatment, delivery condition and actual inspection results; it is not wrought C18150. Zhiren availability is unconfirmed.

Confirm the drawing, actual duty, material standard and manufacturing condition. Material substitutions require customer approval, and supply scope is agreed after component review.

Component RFQ requirements

Contact geometry
Contact areas, flatness, fastener holes and machining datums.
Material condition
Grade, heat treatment where specified, hardness and finished-part conductivity criteria.
Assembly verification
Contact pressure, operating duty and responsibility for resistance and temperature-rise checks.
Material specification
Alloy grade, governing standard and revision, manufacturing condition and any restricted substances.
Order & acceptance
Approved drawing revision, quantity, blank or machined delivery, inspection criteria and required records.

Start with your drawing, specified alloy and quantity. Include the required delivery condition and acceptance records so the manufacturing and inspection scope can be reviewed.
