COMPONENT REQUIREMENTS

Check valve body

Define the geometry, material, delivery condition and acceptance criteria for the selected application. Manufacturing scope requires review of the approved drawing and operating requirements.

COMPONENT GUIDE

Check valve body

Reverse-flow prevention point in a fire-water line or pump discharge

Houses the check-valve flow passage and supports the specified closure mechanism.

Manufacturing & delivery form
Pressure-containing body casting with agreed machining.

Closure and sealing materials may differ from the body. Opening behaviour and assembled-valve leakage require design and assembly validation.

Material candidates

UNS C83600 Leaded red brass

A candidate for specified cast valve bodies, covers and connection housings.

An application candidate, not a confirmed equipment bill of materials or available Zhiren grade. Do not default to potable-water use.

Confirm the drawing, actual duty, material standard and manufacturing condition. Material substitutions require customer approval, and supply scope is agreed after component review.

Component RFQ requirements

Valve configuration
Supply the approved swing/lift or other design, orientation, body geometry and flow direction.
Closure interfaces
Define hinge/pin or guide geometry, seat datum, cover joint and closure travel.
Pipe interfaces
Specify connection standard, end dimensions, seal faces and installation envelope.
Body acceptance
Provide pressure/temperature, wall and defect limits, leak-test criteria and inspection responsibility.
Approved release
Specify alloy, revision control, material/batch records and complete-valve test/qualification responsibility.

Start with your drawing, specified alloy and quantity. Include the required delivery condition and acceptance records so the manufacturing and inspection scope can be reviewed.
