COMPONENT GUIDE

Cast conductor clamp body

Cable or round-conductor clamping point

Provides the specified conductor grip and electrical-contact interfaces.

Manufacturing & delivery form
Complex clamp casting with machined contact faces; forging is a separate route.

Suitability for a particular transmission-line clamp requires the approved conductor, mechanical-load and electrical-contact specifications.

Material candidates

UNS C81100 Cast copper

A candidate for drawing-specified conductive cast components.

Candidate for drawing review only. Confirm finished-part conductivity and contact geometry; purity alone does not establish assembly performance. Zhiren availability is unconfirmed.

UNS C87600 Cast copper-silicon alloy

A candidate for drawing-specified connection or support components.

Candidate for drawing review only. Confirm functional requirements and casting condition; do not substitute wrought copper-silicon or brass grades by family name. Zhiren availability is unconfirmed.

Confirm the drawing, actual duty, material standard and manufacturing condition. Material substitutions require customer approval, and supply scope is agreed after component review.

Component RFQ requirements

Conductor fit
Conductor material, form, diameter and contact geometry.
Clamping
Bolt interfaces, clamping force, assembly procedure and mechanical criteria.
Electrical & finish
Current-carrying function, conductivity/contact checks, coating and environmental exposure.
Material specification
Alloy grade, governing standard and revision, manufacturing condition and any restricted substances.
Order & acceptance
Approved drawing revision, quantity, blank or machined delivery, inspection criteria and required records.

Start with your drawing, specified alloy and quantity. Include the required delivery condition and acceptance records so the manufacturing and inspection scope can be reviewed.
