COMPONENT GUIDE

Bearing segment

Specified local sliding support or bearing contact within mill equipment.

Provides the defined curved or flat bearing-contact segment.

Manufacturing & delivery form
Block or semicircular casting blank with agreed contact-surface machining.

Specify the actual bearing configuration and approved alloy. C95400, C93200 and C93700 are separate candidates requiring review of load, counterface and lubrication.

Material candidates

UNS C95400 Aluminium bronze

Candidate for drawing-defined loaded sliding and wear components.

Review mating material, lubrication and supply condition. C95400 and C95800 are distinct grades.

UNS C93200 Leaded tin bronze

Candidate for lubricated bushings, bearings and thrust interfaces.

Contains lead. Confirm load, speed, shaft condition and lubrication; no dry-running capability is implied.

UNS C93700 High-leaded tin bronze

Candidate for specified lubricated bearing interfaces.

Contains lead. Higher lead content does not establish a suitable load capacity; confirm the equipment specification.

Confirm the drawing, actual duty, material standard and manufacturing condition. Material substitutions require customer approval, and supply scope is agreed after component review.

Component RFQ requirements

Bearing profile
Contact contour, radius or flat geometry, thickness and mounting.
Counterface
Shaft material, hardness, surface finish and bearing clearance.
Bearing duty
Load, speed, contact distribution and actual temperature.
Lubrication
Lubricant, oil-film or other specified arrangement and groove layout.
Material & acceptance
Specified alloy and standard, supply condition, drawing revision, quantity, inspection criteria and required records.
Supply form
Block or semicircular casting blank with agreed contact-surface machining.

Start with your drawing, specified alloy and quantity. Include the required delivery condition and acceptance records so the manufacturing and inspection scope can be reviewed.
