COMPONENT GUIDE

Plain bearing bushing

Drawing-defined sliding support in machine tools, textile or general machinery.

Supports relative shaft movement through a specified sleeve-bearing surface.

Manufacturing & delivery form
Cast sleeve blank or tube stock with agreed bearing-surface machining.

A plain bushing is distinct from a rolling bearing. C93200 does not imply permission for dry running.

Material candidates

UNS C93200 Leaded tin bronze

Candidate for lubricated bushings, bearings and thrust interfaces.

Contains lead. Confirm load, speed, shaft condition and lubrication; no dry-running capability is implied.

UNS C90500 Tin bronze

Candidate for drawing-defined gear blanks and selected lubricated components.

Confirm the governing standard, casting form and duty. C90500 and C90700 are distinct grades.

UNS C95400 Aluminium bronze

Candidate for drawing-defined loaded sliding and wear components.

Review mating material, lubrication and supply condition. C95400 and C95800 are distinct grades.

Confirm the drawing, actual duty, material standard and manufacturing condition. Material substitutions require customer approval, and supply scope is agreed after component review.

Component RFQ requirements

Bushing geometry
Bore, outside diameter, length, shoulders and groove layout.
Fit & finish
Shaft/housing fit, running clearance and bearing-surface finish.
Mating shaft
Shaft material, hardness, roughness and condition.
Bearing duty
Contact load, sliding speed, lubricant and temperature.
Material & acceptance
Specified alloy and standard, supply condition, drawing revision, quantity, inspection criteria and required records.
Supply form
Cast sleeve blank or tube stock with agreed bearing-surface machining.

Start with your drawing, specified alloy and quantity. Include the required delivery condition and acceptance records so the manufacturing and inspection scope can be reviewed.
